A line is a point moving in space. A dot in motion. Lines can be very expressive, which results in them having different characteristics, emotions, styles, and unlimited variation. For this project students chose a characteristic and portrayed the characteristic with the use of LINE.
PRINT! PRINT! PRINT-MAKING! Printmaking is where an artist creates an image using one material by carving lines into that material base. In Art 1 we used foam plates. This is called relief printing. Once lines have been carved you ink the surface and print!

For this project students created a diptych, they chose two opposing characteristics and portrayed each characteristic with the use of LINE.
